No two couples are the same, and neither are our Grand Mesure, bespoke ceremonies. Whether performed in fluent English by Claire or one of our native English-speaking celebrants, or beautifully woven between languages by one of our native French bilingual celebrants, your unique story and journey remain at the heart of everything we create.
Working closely with you, your planner and wedding team, every detail is thoughtfully considered and beautifully produced. And on the day itself, your ceremony is delivered with confidence, grace and genuine joy, with the calm reassurance and meticulous attention to detail that allow you to be entirely present in the moment.

YOUR WEDDING DAY & CEREMONY
Your celebrant will arrive 1.5 to 2 hours before your ceremony, allowing plenty of time to greet you and your guests, liaise with your planner and wedding team, and ensure every detail is beautifully in place.
We take great care with our presentation, coordinating our attire with the colour palette and design of your wedding while remaining discreet and ensuring the focus is always on you. During the ceremony, we are equally conscious of your photography, moving quietly away from the most important moments, particularly your first kiss.
Following your ceremony, you’ll be presented with your commemorative certificate in a custom-made fine art folio, designed to also hold your vows and legal marriage certificate, creating a beautiful keepsake of the day. After a small celebratory toast, we leave you to enjoy the festivities ahead.

GET IN TOUCH
If your ceremony requires a pre-wedding rehearsal, we’ll decide this together during the final planning stage. Most of our couples find that a full rehearsal isn’t necessary, and that an online walk-through with your celebrant and wedding party is more than enough to arrive at the aisle feeling confident and prepared.
Behind the scenes, we coordinate the procession, exit and all the moments in between with your ceremony team, including your planner, musicians and DJ, ensuring every movement and cue is beautifully directed and leaving you free to focus on the promises you are about to make.
A few months before your ceremony, we finalise your ceremony script, readings, vows and order of ceremony, alongside all the production details needed to bring everything beautifully to life.
Working closely with your planner and wedding team, we confirm the final timings, music, microphones, processional and ceremony cues, ensuring everyone involved knows exactly what to expect on the day. At this stage, your final balance is settled and everything is in place for the celebrations ahead.
Once your questionnaire is complete, Claire begins crafting the first draft of your bespoke ceremony. You’ll receive your first draft early in the planning process, giving us plenty of time to refine it together, usually with just one or two revisions, although revisions are never limited.
Ideally, your ceremony will be finalised a few months before the wedding, with time remaining to incorporate any final thoughts or plans.
Once you have decided Celebrant in Provence is the right fit for you, your booking fee secures your date and you’ll receive access to your personalised portal, where all your ceremony and booking documents live.

Your vows are deeply personal and unique to you. With a little guidance from us, you’ll write them in your own words before sending them privately to Claire, who will help refine them and ensure they feel beautifully balanced, while always remaining entirely your own.
We send you our Couple Questionnaire, carefully designed to uncover your unique story, personalities and relationship. If you are working with a wedding planner or design team, we also begin collaborating with them on the production of your ceremony, ensuring every element is considered from the very beginning.
